Influence of outlet temperature of heating furnace on the formation of needle coke

In coking production, the temperature requirement generally refers to the outlet temperature of the heating furnace. After the material enters the coking tower, the feed temperature is different due to the different pipe insulation, coke tower insulation and heat dissipation units, but the general principle is: the initial feed temperature control should be low, and the later feed temperature should be high.

The influence of temperature on the production of needle coke is as follows: the final formation process of asphalt into needle coke can be roughly summarized as: thick ring and macromolecular aromatics - mesophase sphere-spheroid grow up, and melt-gas coke forms fiber structure - solidifies into coke.
